Message from the President

President & CEOKimitoshi Kudo

On October 1, 2021, Air Water Performance Chemical Inc. was established by merging the Electronic Material Development Division of the Chemical Company of Air Water Inc. with Kawasaki Kasei Chemicals Ltd. and Daito Chemical Co., Ltd. Air Water Bellpearl Inc. joined us in April 2023.
The technological development capabilities, production facilities, human resources, and customer bases of the four companies—accumulated over many years—were consolidated to embark on the first step toward the new challenge of performance chemicals centered on materials for electronics and batteries, or in other words as a performance chemical manufacturer.

Having adopted “to remain a company that is committed to value and provides functions that surpass those of yesterday" as our management vision, we at Air Water Performance Chemical will provide functions that support the present and pave the way to the future through chemistry.
Used as intermediate materials in a wide range of fields, including automobiles, housing, food, pharmaceuticals, and agrochemicals, basic chemicals form an indispensable part of our daily lives. Up until now, we have been utilizing our advanced technological capabilities and stable production capacity to deliver highly cost-effective products and meticulous services while building relationships of trust with our customers.
The field of performance chemicals, which continues to grow due to the development of the smart society that will lead to a comfortable future, is also being underpinned by the unique features of our products. As their adoption in the fields of materials for both electronics and batteries progresses, we will meet our customers' material development needs by continuing to take on the challenges of technological innovation while providing chemicals that feature innovative functions.
In the years to come, we will aim for sustainable growth by regarding the strengthening of our basic chemicals lineup and the expansion of our performance chemicals business as being inextricably linked.

Supporting this growth strategy are the diverse human resources and corporate culture unique to our company. I hope to establish a new corporate culture where young, mid-level, and experienced employees—regardless of gender or occupation—can share a variety of ideas and apply their abilities to the fullest. We will write the new history of Air Water Performance Chemical with every employee taking on challenges in all kinds of innovation.

In addition to the strengths in manufacturing developed by the four companies, Air Water Performance Chemical will use innovation capabilities that create new value to meet the wide range of customer needs and continue to contribute to society. We hope you will give us your understanding and support as we embark on this new challenge.
