We have a lineup of intermediate raw materials used in a wide range of fields, including naphthoquinone, which is the base for various quinone derivatives, and SAQ™, a pulp digesting assistant used to efficiently extract raw materials for paper from wood.

Ester Products [MAXIMOL® series]
MAXIMOL®, an organic acid derivative, has the ability to improve the flame resistance and adhesiveness of rigid urethane foam, and is mainly used as a raw material for urethane used for heat insulation materials such as building materials and refrigerators, etc. We also have developed a new lineup of products for applications other than rigid urethane foam.

Thermally Expandable Graphite (TEG) is a unique thermally expandable graphite made using patented technology by treating natural granular graphite with an interlayer compound to give it expansion properties under heat. It has the characteristic of expanding when heated, and has a wide range of applications inclining sealing parts materials and flame retardants.

Affiliate company SUNCHEMICAL Co., Ltd. handles contract manufacturing of fine chemical products including pharmaceutical raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates. It has a multi-purpose plant of roughly 50 reaction vessels and a GMP plant dedicated to active pharmaceutical ingredients, providing high quality products, under a comprehensive quality assurance system.
Furthermore, thanks to extensive experience in handling heterocyclic compounds, advanced technological capabilities and a stable supply system, it can meet the development needs of agrochemical manufacturers in Japan and worldwide for a diversity of derivatives.

With the technology cultivated through production of photographic processing chemicals and facilities optimized for blending and filling, we provide a wide range of services speedily, including mixing, dissolving, diluting and precise concentration adjustment of liquids and powders.
We are also able to handle powder blending and small batches.
